Trip to Palm Springs

Those were our last days in San Diego. We decided to do quick trip to Palm Springs. That day we had some kind of airshow going on Gillespie, so we had made some photos of different aircrafts.

We flown mostly over deserts, pretty boring after a while. :-)

Near Palm Spring we started to see what water can do to desert - lots of artifical lakes between homes etc. Funny. Notice on first photo, how everything looks without watering (upper right corner).

On final we were hurried few times, as something faster was flying behind us.

Yep, looks faster. :-)

As usual, we rented a car, and drove to the city.

We did some walk around and went to eat something. During our lunch I found out that quite nearly is Joshua Tree National Park. We decided to drive there, but quite fast, to be able to depart before evening - I wanted to see mountains under me...

We arrived back to Palm Spring few quarters before sunset. Preflight took some time, so we departed at night.
