Private Pilot CourseThis page contains photos from my Private Pilot course at Anglo-American Aviation. These
below were made by Marta on our first flight after I got my pilot
certificate. It was also a proof that school C-172 can fly above
10.000ft. :-) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() SchoolThis is main entrance to building, and few photos from inside: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That's view of the airport from bench in front of school: ![]() ![]() ![]() And few pictures made in traffic pattern above Gillespie Airport: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() SurroundingThose are some of the views you can get while training at AAA - ocean side, El Capitan Reservoir, Ramona airport. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() LodgingStudents live in a number of apartments, rented nearby (but too far to get to the airport on foot in reasonable time). ![]() ![]() ![]() That's how it looks inside - two students share one apartment, but each has it's own private room. ![]() ![]() When you go out you have few minutes walk to either huge shopping center or to Albersons grocery store. ![]() ![]() ![]() Long crosscountryAs
part of your training you need to fly "long crosscountry". Mine was 3hr
long, from Gillespie to Imperial and then to Desert Resorts. All in all
it took more than 3 hours. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
