Trip to Santa Barbara

We departed Gillespie airport in the morning, planning to do short trip to Santa Monica and back. Flight took slightly longer than one hour along oceanside.

Finally, we saw Los Angeles financial district.

Shortly afterwards we were landing at Santa Monica Airport

We went to pilot's loungue and called for a car from Enterprise.

After short wait Marta drove us throught Los Angeles

So here we were, famous Sunset Boulevard. Truly speaking nothing really exhillerating, lots of starts in the pavement. :-)

And that's how it looks around.

After eating pizza in CPK we drove to another place, which was choosen by Marta.

Later we decided to stay in Los Angeles overnight, and fly next day to Santa Barbara. I called AAA, they had no problems with that. Unfortunally, as we were prepared to come back home that day we had nothing at all with us - we had to do quite a big shopping in the evening.

We also wanted to go to Mulholland Drive.

Next day after quite long driving around the highways we finally found Santa Monica and airport. We returned car and departed to Santa Barbara.

In Santa Barbara we rented another car (ugh!) at the airport and went to city. It was pretty nice!

We also wanted to see the beach, but at this season it was not really interesting...

So we returned to airport, checked weather and departed home. Below is view on Los Angeles International Airport - it was slowly getting dark...
